The adventures continue in Once Upon a Time’s Underbrooke (yes, that’s its official name now), this week with a character study on Rumplestiltskin. We talk about his troubled past marriage with Milah in the Enchanted Forest and the surprising heart-to-heart between Rumple and Milah in the present-day Underworld. Then we discuss the episode’s big plot twist – it’s payback time for Rumple! – and we wonder whether there’s any chance we’ll see a redemption arc for Rumplestiltskin, or will his happy news push him further into his Dark One comfort zone? Also, we discover that Emma, Snow and Regina are all slated to stay in Hades’ literal hellhole – spooky! All of that plus listener letters and our favorite zingy one-liners!

  1. GOLD:
    .
    ABANDON by his father ….
Raised by spinsters ….. that could have a lot to do with his insecurity … I do not approve of RUMPLE actions … but I see where he is coming from based on his childhood … making bad choices.
    .
THEN he marries a pushy woman who probably just married him to improve her life style not because she loved RUMPLE

She pushed him to go to the OGRE WARS … She pushes him to KILL the medicine man … basically she pushes him … and is never satisfied with him or their life.
    .
I do not see Mihla in a good light …. she abandoned NEAL, she abandoned the dead kids…. Her actions just circle around again to be the same…. kind of glad she is in the river of lost souls.
